Toledo Junior Celtics

The Toledo Junior Celtics began in 2012 as a combined side before establishing themselves as an independent club in 2013. The program quickly found success, reaching the state semifinals in its first official season and competing in Rugby Ohio Division 2.

The program has continued to grow steadily, producing standout athletes, multiple playoff appearances, and a state championship in 2021. In 2025, the program fielded over 40 players for the first time in its history.

Player Development

The Toledo Junior Celtics focus on developing athletes of all experience levels. Players are trained in core rugby fundamentals, teamwork, conditioning, and game understanding.

Many athletes go on to represent Ohio select sides and continue their rugby careers at the collegiate level.
